Today’s Quick and Easy crochet project(s) are dish scrubbies. I know, not very exciting but a great way to use up some scraps you have laying around.
The first one I found at http://www.cuteandcozycrochet.com/2017/02/24/bobble-stitch-dish-scrubby-mitt/
I can’t remember the last time I did anything with the Bobble Stitch, this seemed a good time to reacquaint myself with it. I forgot how much I liked the bobble stitch and how it looks.
Sandie
I won’t go into the pattern here because it can be found on cuteandcozycrochet’s website/blog, but I will say that I actually followed it to the letter other than adding a little chain stitch hanging loop so that I can hang it beside the sink when I am not using it.
This is how mine turned out!
Once I had a taste for the bobble stitch again I decided to make another scrubbie, just a different type. I made a little round one with a “hand strap” on it. I will try to type out the pattern, at least what I remember while making it lol.
This is my little round scrubbie and the pattern is below the pictures.
Crochet Scrubbie with Hand Strap
Note: Please keep in mind that I wrote this pattern out a few hours after I made the scrubbie so I will apologize ahead of time if I forgot something or put something in that wasn’t supposed to me (embarrassed face)

NOTE: I found a great tutorial for doing the Bobble Stitch here at http://www.dreamalittlebigger.com/post/bobble-stitch-crochet.html
I wish I knew how to crochet! I only knit and Im terrible. Little square dish cloths are the only things I make but I enjoy doing it 🙂

At some point, I plan on doing a learn to crochet video series. Once you get the hang of it you will probably enjoy it more than knitting. When I have the choice I generally choose crochet, even though I can do both 😳.
There are a lot of great videos circulating on utube and such right now you should check out!

The hand strap on the scrubby is very clever! I’ve actually been looking at the Red Heart Scrubby yarn trying to decide if I want to make some scrubbies. 🙂

Thsnk you! I found without it the scrubbie was hard to hold. That solved it.
I just used worsted weight yarn and it works great on my ceramic coated pots and my glass cook top!
