Kielbasa Pierogi Casserole

We love pierogi as well as kielbasa, so adding them together into a casserole sounded divine!  I found this recipe at and made it last night for dinner.  I don’t eat meat but I still had to at least try a few of the pierogi and it was delicious!

If you like either pierogi or kielbasa, you really need to try this recipe!  I can only imagine how good it would taste if I actually took a day and made some homemade pierogi!  That would just put this recipe over the top.


Here are the ingredients required for this recipe.  The only thing I changed from the original recipe was to use green onions instead of parsley on top and I bought beef broth instead of chicken so I just used that anyway!


Even the directions were easy.  All that you need to do is layer the pierogi in the bottom of your greased pan in a single layer, top each pierogi with a spoonful of sour cream (I used a good Tbsp. on each one), top with the diced kielbasa, then a whole whack of grated cheese and repeat!


Top all of that with some chopped green onion and pop that in the oven. This is what you get once you have cooked it at 350 for 30 – 45 minutes! And it is as delicious as it looks!
