Fast & Delicious Tartar Sauce

No, this isn’t really much of a recipe but if you want to add some delicious tartar sauce to whatever kind of fish you are eating… this is the one.  I made some on Sunday to go with my lazy ass dinner plans lol.  It was a busy weekend, trying to get inside and outside of the house ready for winter, so when it came time for dinner on Sunday…. I wanted easy but I didn’t want to start using my Make Ahead Meals yet.  Thankfully I had the foresight to buy a box of frozen fish burgers when I did the grocery shopping…. between them, some homemade tartar sauce and some air fryer French fries… we had dinner.  While it wasn’t as healthy as normal I thought we could get away with it using the air fryer! The only problem was that we were all so hungry from our busy day that I didn’t get the chance to take a picture of the fish burgers lol!

The next few weeks are going to be just as busy… if not worse.  And while I will try my best to maintain our daily posts, there may be a few days in there where I am unable… but I will be back lol.  Once I am done retiling the bathroom floor, redoing the backsplash in my kitchen, reorganizing/painting the laundry room, redoing the storage area in the basement and hopefully finally getting back to the craft room makeover as well as prepare for Christmas. Quite the To Do list, isn’t it lol?  Wish me luck?



Here are the ingredients I used to make the Tartar Sauce.


I chopped the green onion, chopped the dill pickles and added them to a medium sized bowl with the mayonnaise, Dijon, pepper, lemon juice and parsley.


Now for the hard part lol…. I mixed it all together and had some really delicious Tartar Sauce for our Fish burgers!



Fast & Delicious Tartar Sauce

Preparation Time: 5 minutes  Servings: 1 1/2 cups


  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. parsley
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped dill pickle
  • pepper to taste


  1. Finely chop green onion and dill pickle.
  2. Add chopped green onion, chopped dill pickle, mayonnaise, Dijon, lemon juice, parsley and pepper to a medium bowl.
  3. Stir until fully combined and use on your favourite fish!
