Woodland Baby Wall Décor

I already published one post using something my mother-in-law gave me a few weeks ago when I posted about the little silver platters I turned into hanging chalkboards. This time I am using a large wooden heart she also gave me at the same time.

I made a wall hanging for the baby on the way for the nursery!

Here is the heart once I had given the whole thing a base coat. Please ignore the cat tail/butt…. Jeffy was insistent he be in the picture lol!

Next I found what I wanted to paint on it and traced/drew it onto the base painted heart. I am painting woodland babies on it.

And then I started painting….

And painting, until it was finished!

I added a few coats of sealer to preserve the picture, and now I just need to add some hangers to the back and some ribbon and my Woodland Baby Décor was finished and ready to put away until Kim’s baby shower or baby arrives!
