Lol. I know that feeling. I also sustained a brain injury from a car accident, so the issue is now twice as bad 😳

Oh, no! Have you worked with a speech therapist? They don’t just help with speech but help find work arounds to frustrating issues. I was in a car accident and for years (and it still happens sometimes) I’d forget words in the middle of a sentance or couldn’t say simple things, like “I’m going out the door” because I couldn’t get the word door out. *sighs* But the brain is resiliant and can find all kinds of paths around damage, so there’s always hope!

No speech therapist yet. I’m still working with a concussion specialist, an opthamologist and a neuro- opthamologist for the damage it caused one of my eyes. I’ve already missed 16 months of work and I’m still not sure when I’ll be able to go back 😕. The lost word thing drives me crazy, I always feel like I’m only speaking half sentences. As does the memory issues.
