Christmas in April!

Chris, my wonderful husband, just bought me a set of brand new, pretty Ceramic baking pans from Kitchen Stuff Plus. I wonder if it was because I made some comment about anyone reading our recipe posts thought I only had aluminum pans lol. My other pans are just well loved, for lack of a better word.

Anyways, he bought me 6 new pans and they arrived yesterday!!! It really was just like Christmas for me…. does that make me strange (stranger lol)? To get that excited over receiving something for the kitchen. I know the general rule for men buying gifts for women is to avoid buying them something for the kitchen, but I don’t do normal and something like that is perfect for me! Check these out!

Here is the big beautiful cardboard box they came in, very well packaged I say.

This is what it looked like after I started digging in the box for my treasures! (You can see Jeffy checking it out to see what his Mom is so excited about lol)

And here is the prize all the digging and ripping and woo hoo-ing was about!

Aren’t they beautiful lol?  I tried one of them last night… but I was so excited with them I forgot to take any pictures.  I made them Muskoka Sausages with lots of BBQ sauce, onions and cherry tomatoes, cooked it at 400 degrees until it was done and let’s just say the pan had very well-baked on food when it was done! I didn’t even soak the pan, I really wanted to test it the first time…. and it did not let me down!  I am so happy with them.

Tonight I am cooking Caesar Salad (without the lettuce lol) Chicken.  I will take pictures throughout and maybe I’ll do another post with the recipe, if you can even call it that.  Taking pictures means I can show you how well these pans wash up, even with burnt on food!

This is my before picture of the chicken just before I put it in the oven.

This is about 15 minutes before the meal is done.  I sprinkled the cheese and bacon on top and put it back in the oven to melt and brown up the cheese.  Burnt on cheese…let’s hope that comes off as easy as the sausage and BBQ sauce did last night!

Now it’s all cooked and ready for them to eat!  Nice messy pan.

I didn’t soak it again since I had such good luck last night and again, it cleaned up easy as pie.  I am so impressed with these pans and would highly recommend them to anyone!

This is where Chris got them –

I know this isn’t a recipe or craft or anything like that, but I just had to share how happy and satisfied I am with this bakeware!
